Microcosm exhibitions have progressed over the years through a series of revamps, becoming more interactive. For 32 years, CERN’s first permanent on-site exhibition has been a window onto our Laboratory, close to its heart, reflecting our community’s desire to share the CERN story and to inspire future generations of scientists. Use a microscope to look at the tiny features that allow scientists to detect and study the fundamental particles that make up the world around us.

Before the tour started, I wandered into a museum called Microcosm, which was an interactive exhibition presenting the work of the CERN particle physics.
